How to advertise a study through URPP to recruit participants:

  1. Ensure that your study has been approved by the a Research Ethics Board.

  2. Ensure that your study ends AT THE LATEST, on the dates specificed on URPP for each semester.
  3. Download and complete the following URPP Study Description Form ensuring that the study name matches what is on your ethics approval:
  4. Email the completed form along with your Ethics Approval Notification to Dr. Holli-Anne Passmore at Holli-Anne.Passmore@concordia.ab.ca.

  5. URPP will email you back a URL link which is where particpants from your study will enter their Student Name, Student ID, and choose the course they want their URPP credits to be assigned to.
  6. On your study site on the last page, set your study to automatically redirect to the URL link URPP sent you. This link will be unique to each study posted.
  7. At the end of the semester, a couple days after the last day of classes, you will receive an email from URPP with a spreadsheet listing students in your classes who earned URPP credits. You then add the % listed for each of these students to their final grade. (e.g., If a student's final grade after all exams = 73%, and the student earned 2% URPP credits, the student's final grade woudld = 78%.)
